Enters Paul of Tarsus The proofs of the resurrection of Jesus - TopicsExpress

Enters Paul of Tarsus The proofs of the resurrection of Jesus are numerous and irrefutable , but having already treated this subject elsewhere , we will mention only 1:00 to 1:00 proof always targeted . That Christ is truly risen from the dead is the only explanation for the fact that Saul of Tarsus , the greatest enemy of Christianity , have become an apostle . A new and popular rabbi, Saul was on his way to great honors for his leadership role in pursuing an aberrant sect with arrest, imprisonment and martyrdom. Then suddenly he became one of the most despised and persecuted Christians and because of that he was arrested several times , beaten and imprisoned . On one occasion he was even stoned and presumed dead . Finally it was stuck. This amazing turnaround would not make sense ... unless ... Why voluntarily exchanging popularity suffering and eventual martyrdom ? Paul explained have found the risen Christ , and who had died for the sins of the world was alive and had been revealed to him . This testimony , however, was not sufficient in itself to prove that Christ was actually alive. Something more was needed. No one could doubt the sincerity of Paul. This was demonstrated by his desire to suffer and die for Christ. A sincere belief , but it was not enough proof that Christ is really alive . Could Paul have suffered a hallucination and simply imagined that Christ had appeared to him and talked with him and he was still alive . The Roman governors Felix and Festus and King Agrippa heard Paul s narration about his supernatural encounter and were sure he was sincere , but I was wrong ( Acts 00:26 ) . This explanation , however, does not explain the facts . The sudden intimacy between Paul and Christs teachings provide evidence of the resurrection , which could never be explained otherwise .
