Entertainment Writer Marks A Milestone Entertainment writer Oggie Medina celebrated his birthday recently. Among his guests were Miss Grand International 3rd runner-up and singer Ali Forbes with her sister model Lea Forbes of Manila Jockey Club, band musician Mark Barde, Col. Dani Enriquez, columnist Wilson Lee Flores, Gilbert Uy, Dr. Katherine Ann Bailey, Mary Ann Diaz-Medina with hubby Boy and son Yanyan, Lenon M. Bueno with hubby chef Romy (who will soon launch his first pastry book), Nica Bueno, Engr. Maria Nicolo Bueno, Ariel Medina, Maria Paz M. Cruz, Randolp Dolores San Andres, and Rhea Mae Violon Panganiban. Oggie is related to “Zuma” creator and “Darna” illustrator Jim M. Fernandez, noted glass sculptor Ramon G. Orlina, and LVN director Felicing Constantino. His father, Antonio Medina, was an LVN actor and his sister, Au-au Medina, was a former member of the Vicor Dancers group. He is the grandnephew of the late Leonor Orosa-Goquingco, the National Artist for Dance.
