Environment Canada is tracking a low pressure system that will move over the Great Lakes Thursday, intensifying as it tracks northeast into a large fall storm that will impact much of the eastern United States and Canada. Rain will likely begin over western New Brunswick Thursday evening then spread to the remainder of the province during the night. Rain will likely be heaviest during the day Friday. Southerly winds will also strengthen Thursday night. The winds will become very strong on Friday, potentially causing damage to some tree limbs and causing power disruptions. The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings issued by Environment Canada at weatheroffice.gc.ca
