Environmental Writing Contest Juatenda is looking for Original presentations written by students on environmental issues affecting their counties. Presentations may include photographs. Students of the 8 Institutions visited by the Juatenda team. Participating Institutions 1. University Of Nairobi 2. Chuka University 3. Technical University of Mombasa 4. Masinde Muliro University 5. Maseno University 6. Consolata Institute of Communications –Nyeri 7. Mt Kenya University-Nakuru Campus 8. Garissa Teachers College What to submit Presentations should highlight the environmental challenges affecting your county ie the county your institution is based in. Presentations should be aimed at a general readership and should be non-technical. No footnotes or citations are allowed. Presentations can be in either Kiswahili or English. Submissions should be no longer than 2,000 words. When to Submit Presentations should be emailed to [email protected] by 5pm November 4th 2013. Winners will be announced by November 30 2013. NOTE: Copyright for all submissions remain with the authors. In submitting their work, authors grant Juatenda an irrevocable license to print, publish, distribute and publicize the submitted work.
