Eph 6:10-20 (Mikes Paraphrase) I stand here with my “side arm holstered and my rifle” shouldered; (My bible), my “body armor” on; (acting in accord with the divine laws of God, as set forth by His Word). Wearing my “Combat” Boots; soled with the Gospel of Peace, my “riot shield of belief” of God’s faithfulness to His faithful, my ”Kevlar helmet” of Salvation; placed upon my head by Jesus through His shed blood at Calvary; brandishing my “Sword” (The Word) at every opposing foe. Standing in all perseverance of prayer and supplication in the Spirit. That I may continually be emboldened by the Spirit to speak the truth of the Gospel; whenever and wherever as it is needed or upon the unction of the Holy Ghost.
