Ephesians 2:8&9 For by Grace you are saved through faith;and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God not of your works , least any man should boast. So many people think they can get to heaven for being a good person. That is a LIE!! If so, God coming to earth in the form of man & dying on the Cross for our sins would be nonsense. 1) Good wrks cannot pay for our sins. Only thru accepting Christ as ur personal Savior. Read Romans 6:23 2) Good wrks cannot erase Sin. Only thru the blood of Christ can pay for our sins. Read Hebrews 9:22 & Romans 3:25 3) Good wrks cannot change what you are. Only accepting The Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. Its called Salvation!! Read Romans3:23 & John 3:3 4) God will not accept good wrks. He is the judge of unrepentant sinners. Good wrks does NOT save anyone. Read Isaiah 64:6 & John 3:16 5) Good wrks will NOT bring honor to God. Most people want u to recognized there good wrks! They like to tell u Im a good person i do good things for people Im thankful for what I have And???????? Boasting that ur all that doesnt exclude u from Hell! Unless uve repented of ur sins & have accepted Jesus as ur personal Savior! Read Romans 10 GOOD WORKS WILL NOT GET YOU INTO HEAVEN!!
