Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the “gift”. The apostate church out of the Protestant Reformation through the teachings of Calvin and Luther subtly perverted the word “grace”, just as they perverted the Sovereignty of God. Why did they teach this heresy? So they could live in sin and still be counted righteous before God. The true definition of “grace” is the power of God, not the unmerited favor of God “IE” the gift of God………….The word “Gift” means propitious unmerited favor. GRACE means HIS power that is imparted by the Holy Spirit. This unmerited favor, or gift of God, is the power of God, not of man’s own power lest he should boast…. Grace= power of God
