Ephesians 3:4-6 When reading this, you will be able to understand my insight into this secret of Christ. Now this secret was not disclosed to people in former generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, namely, that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus. We learn here that the gospel is an open invitation to all people. The church has begun to take shape around Christ, and his body will be drawn to Him from people all across the globe. That is not to say that the Gentiles have a separate inheritance. No, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus they are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. (NIV) Through the church of Jesus Christ, God is working to invite and graft people in without prejudice. No more do Gentiles need to feel like outsiders who hopelessly stand apart from God. Now it is not our birth or physical circumcision, it is not how well we observe the traditions or follow man-made regulations, and it is not by our works that we are saved.
