Epic Soundtracks used to be in a band called Swell Maps. He was the drummer. In the 1990s he made a series of excellent solo albums very much influenced by the Beach Boys and in my mind, John Cale ! I met him once at a Beach Boys tribute night in London. He sang Ballad of Ol Betsy. It was beautiful.
