Epic story today: After class today, I walked out of the building to see that the bus Im supposed to be taking to go home just leaving the bus stop. I panicked and dashed for it. I knew that I had to run around 200 meters to the next bus stop, which is straight down the road. As the bus continued going, I kept up with it at a sprinting level at maximum speed. I havent sprinted for over 3 months, especially for 200 meters, which made me extremely tired. I knew I couldnt stop because that would mean that I would miss the bus again at the next stop. When I got to the next stop, I missed the bus again by just 3 seconds. The bus started going again, and I just stopped at the bus stop, out of breath. I was devastated. (It takes around 25 minutes for the same bus to come by again). Then, a miracle happened. The bus stopped just after going forward about 5 feet, angled towards the road, and the doors of the bus opened. I felt so relieved and ran into the bus. Everyone inside the bus clapped for me and the bus driver said, You made it :) Thank you so much for stopping for me, bus driver. :D And thanks for everyones support. High school track and field prepared me for one of these many special situations in which I would have to use my sprinting skills to catch a bus. I did it. :D
