Episode 22, Charges and Specs, is nearly perfect. The writers, and the incredibly rich ensemble cast (the sit-com equivalent of Game of Thrones -- its impossible to choose a favorite,) have reached a new level altogether in the half-hour format. Barney Miller comes to mind (and marks my age.) This show, with these talented performers, writers, and producers, could easily work as a one-hour program without dropping a single, brilliant comic line. But they have their work cut out for them now, because this episode set a standard they are now obliged to maintain. Bravo to everyone involved.
