Episode Recap – 1/19/15 - (contains spoilers from todays show) - #boldandbeautiful Everyone is gathered in Bill’s office for an announcement. He says he has an important announcement to make – two actually. Ivy joins them and says that Bill called her. Bill names Liam President of Spencer Communications. Caroline walks in Rick’s office and Rick tells her that he needs daily progress reports and if he’s not available to give them to Maya. Caroline makes a crack that Maya called in reinforcements – her sister. Rick is surprised and didn’t know. There’s a knock at the Forrester mansion and it’s Maya sister, Nicole, and at first she doesn’t recognize her. Then she hugs her and happily brings her in. She asks what she’s doing in LA and Nicole says that she got accepted to UCLA and is going there. Maya wants to know why she didn’t get in touch with her before and Nicole tells her that – when you haven’t seen someone in a long time, you wonder if that’s the way they wanted it. Rick says he thought Maya’s family was all scattered around the US. Caroline makes a crack and says that Maya can round up her whole family and they can all live at Eric’s house. Caroline goes to leave and Rick asks her what Maya’s sister is like. She says that she’s the opposite of shyness and seems really nice, young and pretty. He tells her that her name is Nicole. Caroline asks if he’s done because she’s ready to go. She starts to leave and Rick asks her if something happened because she seems different. She says – maybe you never knew me very well. Nicole makes a comment about the portrait and questions Maya about what’s going on with her and Rick. She tells Maya that she saw things on the internet. Maya offers her coffee and hugs Nicole again and she wonders what Nicole’s been told about her from the family. Liam is stunned and Bill tells him it’s because he’s smart and hard-working and the employees like Liam better. Katie goes to leave and says – this has been fun but, I have a nail appointment. Bill stops her and gives a little speech and then offers the Vice President position to Katie. Ivy tells Liam she thinks this is really awesome. Liam brings up Katie and this is a ploy to get Katie back. Bill is alone with Katie and asks her what she says. She gives her conditions including the salary she wants, that she doesn’t want to deal with Allison and she wants childcare re-instated. Bill brings up the house and that he wouldn’t mind going back and sleeping in his bed. Katie tells him – how about she makes him dinner. Justin comes in with the contract. Katie tells them that she’d be crazy to sign anything that Justin drew up without reading the whole thing first. She takes the contract and leaves. Caroline comes in and sits down. Bill asks what’s wrong and he says – it’s Forrester, isn’t it? Rick is in his office and Pam comes in with Stephanie’s portrait. She says that she’s shaming him and that he put her sister in the garage. She says she’s going to keep the portrait at his desk. Rick tells her no. He tells her that he’ll have someone wrap it up and treat it like the Mona Lisa. Maya and Nicole talk and Nicole says that she’s kept track of what Maya’s been doing and that she hacked into the system and changed the 0 to $100 for Maya to use, when she was in jail, for whatever she needed. Maya is surprised and then says that she wants to be sure that they don’t lose touch and wants Nicole’s address. Bill questions what happened between her and Rick. He can’t believe that this was all an act on Rick’s part. Caroline says that she came to Bill so that he doesn’t go ballistic and blame Ridge. Bill tells Caroline that Ridge is a player and a hypocrite, with hair on his hands and he doesn’t want Ridge touching his niece. He tells her that she needs to be back with her husband. Caroline tells Bill that Rick keeps saying it’s over. Maya asks what Nicole is majoring in and she says Computer Science. Maya wants to know what that prepares her for and Nicole can’t believe she’s giving her the mom and dad talk. They talk more and then Nicole says she should go to class. She tells Maya she missed her a lot. They hug. Liam tells Ivy he knows that she probably thinks he’s too young but, the truth is that he’s really worked hard for this. Ivy says that she was actually thinking how nice it is when good things happen to good people and that doesn’t happen enough and he’s a good person who says good things. Katie walks in to where Caroline is and says hello. Katie says this is the first time they’ve been face to face. Katie tells Caroline – you think you ruined my life but, you didn’t – nothing could be further from the truth. Rick starts to give Pam instructions on helping to find Maya’s family and Pam tells him no. I’m not doing a deep background check on your girlfriend. You don’t trust her – I wonder why. There’s another knock at the door at Eric’s house and it’s Bill. She asks him if he wants to leave a message – she’s the only one home. Bill says – home? No, you’re just the resident squatter. Ivy asks Liam if they should celebrate. She says but, she has to go the job she has. Liam makes a crack about them going slow but, she has no idea where he wants to put his hands and Ivy answers that she might win that game and then they kiss. Rick says he trusts Maya and Pam says that Rick trusts no one – not even himself. She tells him that he knew it was wrong to take Maya into Stephanie’s home and his father’s bed. She tells him that she’d love to feel sorry for him but, he spent enough time on that for all of them. Katie tells Caroline that she let Ridge go because she really didn’t understand him. He’s an amazing man but, I lost myself in him and that felt good for a little while but, he’s an artist and his work would always be his first love. She tells Caroline that she wanted to be everything he needed and she tried but, the harder she tried, she realized that she wanted to be more than what he needed her to be and she lost what she wanted to be. She tells Caroline that she forgot who she was and for Caroline not to do that. Caroline thanks her and then Katie asks if she knows where Bill went and Caroline says that she told Bill about Rick and Maya. Bill looks at Maya’s picture and asks if that’s her big achievement, redecorating Stephanie’s home. Maya says she asked Bill to leave and Bill tells her that she’s on her way out. He asks if what she’s doing is to fulfill some kind of trailer park fantasy she has. She tells Bill that Rick is in love with her. Bill tells her that Rick is in love with misery and tormenting himself. Rick married Caroline, etc. and Rick is in mental agony as we speak over not fulfilling that promise. So leave him alone. Let them work it out. Maya throws back that she can get the police to remove him and Bill mocks her saying he’s terrified. He asks her how long it is before she’ll be removed. He reminds her that he knows about her ugly past and he can make it stick to her in a New York minute. He tells her she has 24 hours to say her goodbyes and by this time tomorrow – you are gone. Do you understand me?
