Episode Recap – 1/8/15 - (contains spoilers from todays show) - #boldandbeautiful Maya watches Rick sleep in bed. He wakes up and she says she can’t believe they get to share this all out in the open. Rick tells her it’s happening. Maya tells him – no more sneaking around – no more Maya – the gold digging, husband stealing tramp. Rick tells her that no one will call her those names and she’s officially under his protection. Maya tells him that this is like living a dream and she’s going to soak it all up but, she’s there for only reason – she’s madly head-over-heels in love with him. Rick tells her she’s nice to wake up to. Pam, Aly and Ivy walk into Eric’s house and Pam is upset that they had to spend the night in a hotel. Pam can’t believe that Maya kicked out the two Forrester women. Ivy notices the portrait and Pam yells…where is my sister? There are a bunch of boxes at Liam’s and Caroline is awake on the couch. Liam comes over with coffee and she apologizes for being there. Liam says he appreciates the company – it gets lonely rattling around the house. Caroline says she can’t believe that she got kicked out of her own house. Maya asks Rick how long they could stay there and Rick talks about the upgrading of his house that since Eric is gone for a while – maybe even a couple months. He says he wants Maya to be comfortable there. Maya says they are going to be running FC, living in a mansion (even if it’s temporary) but, most of all getting to be with Rick. She asks him how it could ever get any better. Liam tells Caroline she can stay as long as she needs but, she tells him she’s planning on making it the shortest stay ever. She tells him she’s not giving up on her marriage. Liam tells Caroline that Maya is the interloper. Caroline tells Liam that Maya is too clever and dangerous that she’s a social climber. She said but, not on my husband’s back. Pam can’t believe that Maya’s picture is up there in Stephanie’s place. Ivy says – don’t worry – when Rick sees this he’ll put the picture back up. Rick comes downstairs and Pam says have you seen this? Rick calls it beautiful and that it captures Maya’s spirit. Rick tells them he put the picture up. Liam questions Caroline about her and Ridge and Caroline tells him that Ridge is a very powerful man, intellectually, creatively and physically. She says she was happy in her marriage and Rick was everything to her. Liam asks what happened then and Caroline says – chemistry. She says she tried to explain it away. Liam brings up that Caroline has always idolized Ridge and his work. Liam brings up that maybe it’s hero worship and Caroline says that only gets her so far because there’s this electricity between us and Ridge started to feel it too. She says she should have stopped it before anything happened. Liam asks why she didn’t and she says because she didn’t want to – she wanted to know what it was like to kiss Ridge and be in his arms. Liam says he gets that because you know you’re jeopardizing the most important thing in your life and you don’t stop until it’s done. Caroline says that’s behind her because she’s focused on getting her husband back. Liam respects that Caroline’s decision to keep her marriage together but, then tells her about what Ivy saw before. He tells Caroline that he learned the hard way and that she might have to stand up for her pride and dignity and that might mean letting go. Pam yells – how dare you to Rick and talks about disrespecting the family and Rick says – he’s not. He tells Pam while he’s there – he’s the man of house and he wants it to reflect him. He tells Pam he doesn’t need her permission to move in or do whatever he wants. He says – this is my family home. Pam says – fine. She tells him to sleep with Maya in that bed and every bed in the house but, it’s not going to last anyway and that’s what makes Rick putting Maya’s portrait up more upsetting – that you replaced my sister’s with that home-wrecker. Rick throws back that Stephanie chose favorites and that was Ridge – who is the one who destroyed my marriage. Rick tells Pam when Eric is back he’ll put Stephanie back on the wall but, until then Maya stays – end of discussion. He walks away. Pam looks at the portrait with tears in her eyes. Rick looks at the portrait smiling. Maya comes down and says she thought she heard voices. He tells her that Pam, Aly and Ivy were there. Maya brings up the picture and he tells her of Pam’s reaction. Maya says she can’t blame her – she’s Stephanie’s sister. Rick tells her that he told Pam it was his idea. Maya says – but, if it’s going to cause trouble with your family and Rick says that they can do what they want. He says – he likes the picture and doesn’t give a damn who disapproves. Ivy and Aly are in the office at FC and talk about how they can’t believe that Maya’s portrait is up. Aly brings up how Rick is changing and doing all of this so he can take control of FC. Aly wonders what the heck is going on. Ivy says that Rick is doing this to get back at Caroline. Liam says that he’s not trying to discourage Caroline – marriage is a thing worth saving but, it takes two. Caroline is not in a place that she can accept that yet. She says Rick turned to Maya because I hurt him and she was there but, feelings don’t go away overnight. Liam says – yes, she should do everything you can to salvage your marriage but, if it’s not working – you have to know when to call it. Caroline says – it’s great advice but, I’m not going to take it today. She gets her phone out and calls Rick and tells him they need to talk and Rick says – they just did. She asks if he’s at the office and he says he’s at the house. Rick looks at the portrait and suggests that Caroline goes over there. She agrees and tells Liam. He asks if Maya is there and Caroline says that she probably is but, she’s going to be gone – I’m going to get my husband back and this time I’m not going to let him go. Maya ends a phone call and then tells Rick – maybe he wants to rethink the picture and she won’t be offended. Rick tells her – no more hiding. I want my lady to grace the walls and the world will have to deal with it. He tells her to go upstairs and get ready – they’ve got a big day ahead of them. Ivy tells Aly that Caroline hit Rick exactly where she knew it would hurt by getting involved with Ridge. In Rick’s eyes, that betrayal warrants payback. She says – if Rick didn’t care about Caroline – it would be different. She says everything Rick is doing is to get a reaction from Caroline. Aly says – so you don’t think Rick and Caroline are done and Ivy says – I’m saying don’t bet against them. Caroline gets to Eric’s house and Rick answers and Caroline says they need to talk. She says they have to figure things out. He tells Caroline if she wants to talk to come in. He offers her water and tells Caroline he wishes her well but, not with him. Caroline tells him they have to get past this – the anger and the hurt – yours with me and mine with you – we took vows to stay together no matter what. Rick asks if she was thinking of those vows when she was kissing Ridge. She says it will never happen again. I would do anything to take it back. She asks Rick to let her make it up to him. He walks away and Caroline says – don’t you miss me at all. We’re great together. Caroline finally turns and looks at the wall. She sees Maya’s portrait and screams and drops her glass shattering it.
