#EricGarners memorial was viciously burned down on the evening of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day after the Garner family spent the earlier part of the day marching for justice and even stopping to pay their respects to the slain officers in Brooklyn. Lets keep it real, this was not a coincidence. But in the words of Erica Garner, there is more love than evil and love always wins. Tuesday night some folks from the 4 Mile March NYC and other local organizations came together to show support to the Garner family. We marched through the streets of Staten Island, led by the young warrior queen herself: Erica Garner, then made our way to the newly rebuilt memorial to say a prayer and pledge to never stop fighting for justice.
