Erica has such a wonderful Pleximony! I am so thrilled to see how much Plexus is helping people with their health. Check it out! You are looking fabulous girl! The time has come to share my story. I have always been really self-conscious of my weight - body image issues. I have major medical issues. Fibromyalgia since around the age of 24, History of a massive Pulmonary Embolism at age 32 that never fully resolved, Asthma, and chronic recurring cellulitis - and I was already fat to begin with. This is why, if you try and tag a photo of me, you won’t see it on my timeline (most often anyway). I have struggled to find that happy place where I wouldn’t be bugged by doctors, tipping the scales at one end, be doped up on pain - and other - medications for my fibromyalgia, and still have energy go about my daily life. I have a hard time exercising - even normal walking - like normal folk because of my residual lung pain/scar tissue/breathing issues that will always be a part of my life since that awful Pulmonary Embolism in 2007. However, I like to think of it as a daily reminder that I am so blessed to be alive. In January or February of this year - 2014 - (can’t remember LOL) of this year, a friend Ive known basically since Middle School introduced me to Plexus Slim (and Accelerator Plus combo). I admit, I was skeptical - having tried a few things (with success, but setbacks, mind you). But it didn’t work (I now know why). At first. I simply felt like I was craving more than ever - I was ravenous. I felt frustrated. I did some research and realized that maybe a 3 day trial was not enough. So sometime down the road (again, can’t remember when. April maybe?) I decided to try again. This time, I just used the Slim and added the Bio Cleanse and ProBio5 - both to work on Candida, which I was convinced was part of my problem. Imagine my surprise when I didn’t immediately lose a ton of weight - that’s right. DID NOT… but felt AMAZING. The cravings weren’t there, I wasn’t hungry, but I had SO MUCH ENERGY and VERY LITTLE PAIN. That energy alone was worth “keeping on.” I was able to start reducing one of my Fibromyalgia medications within that first month. And when that happened, the weight - and inches - started coming off. I’ve been on Plexus for 6 months now, and I’m proudly off of that medication (Neurontin) and the antidepressant (Wellbutrin) that they had me on originally to control fibromyalgia pain. I don’t miss them AT ALL. I’ve lost 35 lbs, with 5 inches each off of my rib cage, waist, and hips. I’ve lost inches off of my arms, thighs and even my calves (which one doctor said is very uncommon for someone who has had to undergo vein closure therapy)! More importantly, and most surprising to myself even with these results, I’ve impressed my doctors because my cholesterol is down 51 POINTS. I’m now within NORMAL range. My LDL’s are down 40 points alone! I’ve also lost the taste for soda. Diet Pepsi used to be my biggest crutch - I LOVED the flavor!! I simply don’t drink it anymore. (Sorry, Sonic, I take my money elsewhere now! lol) I’ve gained a whole new respect for myself. And belief in a brand that is helping me achieve my healthy goals, as broken as I may be. ETA: I actually forgot to mention -to everyone - that I tested positive for lupus antibodies and got those results in February. I think that motivated me to do something - I still havent followed up with the further testing. My hope is that it was a false positive due to the meds I was on. So there will be an update to this... someday. Pics - and you know how hard this is to post!
