Erins tissue was too friable for Dr Mousa to go as far as she - TopicsExpress

Erins tissue was too friable for Dr Mousa to go as far as she would have liked with the scope. It was breaking apart right below the too mucosal layer. This is unfortunately not uncommon for EDS. She did what she could and now we wait for the biopsy results. We will have answers Monday at the latest. Erin did not wake up well from the anesthesia so we cancelled the MRI for today. We will schedule for another time. Again, I must commend the team at Nationwide Childrens Hospital, especially Dr Hayat Mousa. We have had more than our fair share of GI specialists, but I can honestly say, this woman cares about my child and I have faith in her ability to help us figure this out. Erin is not feeling well. She is experiencing some bleeding from her bottom and her throat is extremely sore. We are going to cuddle and watch a movie. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
