Eshan had been asking me for a dog to pet and my answer was no. Today as soon as I reached home from the university, I started preparing dinner without talking much to my kids. I was in hurry to a South Asian colloquium. While I was cooking, Eshan was playing in a corner of the kitchen and suddenly he asked, Mom, can I have a baby cheetah as a pet? I said, No, cheetahs are carnivore. He might eat you. Then he became very upset and with a grumpy face he came to me and said, First, I asked you a dog. You said no, and now I am asking you only a baby cheetah. You are saying no again. Promise me you will give me a friendly cheetah when I grow up. So my dear friends, be careful when you come to my house. You might face to face with a cheetah at our house.
