Essendon Football Club is delighted to announce Ben Howlett has agreed to a new two year contract. The re-signing ends recent media speculation, with the midfielder set to remain in the red and black until the end of 2016. The 25-year-old said he was relieved to have put pen-to-paper on the eve of a new pre-season campaign. “I am very happy to have signed on with the club for another two years.” “We have a really strong, close knit playing list at Essendon and we have the belief that we can play some incredibly exciting football.
