Established artists with new albums...my quick reviews: Elton John: The Diving Board. Surprisingly good. No huge old-school EJ hits but very intimate and back-to-basics sounds. And the piano playing is delicious. Goldfrapp: Tales of Us. Unsurprisingly good. Mellower than past albums but really lovely, going to be giving this one many listens. Sting: The Last Shop. Surprisingly, disappointingly bad. Ugh wtf is Sting thinking! Really crap songs and his voice seems to have dropped an octave. Paul McCartney: New. Surprising! I mean it...full of welcome weirdness. No mind blowing sounds but I am loving the incorporate of surprising sounds. Arcade Fire - Reflektor. Im really not sure yet. Its weird, but maybe not in a good way. I need to absorb it a bit before I can really form an opinion.
