Established in 2014, Columbia Protogrove ADF serves the Portland, OR Pagan community; hosting public ritual at the eight modern Pagan high days. We provide excellent and meaningful public ritual for all members of the pagan and non-pagan community to enjoy and participate in. We follow a Neo-pagan druid path that draws many aspects of its practice from the ancient cultures of Europe, the Middle East and India. We are a polytheistic religion, believing in the individuality of the ancient gods and goddesses as well as the cultures from which they came. We seek to understand ourselves and our place in the universe through scholarship and the pursuit of nine virtues commonly found in ancient Indo-European cultures: wisdom, piety, vision, courage, integrity, perseverance, hospitality, moderation and fertility. We uphold the tenets of hospitality between ourselves, the gods and the goddesses, the ancestors and the spirits of nature through both personal practice and group ritual.
