Esther just had an acute prolonged desat into the 40s while they were advancing her ET tube. Of course, I had a front row seat. Talk about chest pain...Im ok now. The good news is that despite the chaos that surrounded the episode, they found a large mucus plug which may have been causing the issue with her congested right lung. All is well. Now Im taking a break outside to greet my first visitors, Peter Liu and Elizabeth Capasso Liu!! Praise The Lord!
