Eternal purpose is central to the Christian life. It is never too early to ask ourselves these questions: “How many years do I have on this earth? Am I taking this journey in a way that makes my life count?” These questions can keep us tracking with God’s eternal purpose. After all, he gave each of us specific abilities; he meant for them to be identified, understood, and used. Our talents are purposeful and make us unique. They enable us to fulfill the assignments God has given us. They identify and empower us to achieve his purpose, according to his will. God has bigger things in mind than we usually realize.
