Ethan had a glowing parent/teacher conference recently. Not only has he met all of his benchmarks for the year and is reading a year ahead; he was also referred to as a strong helper and leader. Then this week he came home with a citizen of the month award. I already knew that he was awesome but last year was a particularly terrible school year for him. It took a toll on his esteem. I am thankful for a new school year that has provided the right light for him to shine! It does my heart good to see his confidence grow! :)
