Ethel aka (Courtney) needs a new home to avoid boarding. She is a 9 year old spayed very young at heart pointer mix and absolutely loves people. She is not a fan of cats, however is good with other dogs and kids. She was pulled from the NYCACC with a broken pelvis and has recovered. She LOVES to run and jump after the ball and the minute she sees a tennis ball the tail starts wagging. She knows sit and down, is working on stay and is receptive to "no". She is housebroken and has never had an accident. She was clearly a city girl because she always pees and poops on the concrete part of my backyard that is a fraction of the size of the lawn. She has very soft fur and loves having her cheeks petted. She takes treats gently and I have no problem removing the food bowl when she is eating. She does very well on the leash and is a champ on the retractable lead. She has let the vets do whatever they need and never flinched. She is a really wonderful dog with great potential.
