Ethical buying is one of our core values. We put an enormous amount of love and care into making our products, so its important to us to find ingredient suppliers that do the same! We use our buying power to create positive change in the world. We give our love (and money) to suppliers that respect the environment, as well as the animals and people living there. The shea butter that we use in our massage bars and body butters are traded directly with the women from the Ojoba Womens Shea Cooperative, in the Upper East Region of Ghana who hand-process the butter.
