Etihad Airways has the following vacancy: Key Account Manager – Retail Sales. Based in JNB, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the Chinese Retail Sales Market in Africa Sub-Sahara (Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa) Requirements - Educated to degree level or equivalent, five years airline, or travel industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leading sales role. In addition you are required to have the following: • Good oral Chinese (Mandarin) language skills Negotiation and Sales techniques • Presentation skills • Account Development Planning • MIDT, Sales Force Automation systems • Reservations and Ticketing (Amadeus) • Good written and oral English language skills • Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times. • Self starter with strong planning, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
