(Saheeh Ibn Khuzaymah, 1756). So a man should wear the best clothes that he has when going out for Eid. With regard to women, they should likewise wear their best outer garments (Abaayahs, Jilbaabs, etc.) when they go out for Eid, and underneath them their nicest dresses to be shown only when they are in all-female gatherings or among family members who are permitted to see their adornments, beauty and finery. #Sunnah #Eid
