Eugene Physical Therapy now offers a lymphedema prevention and treatment program. It is our goal to inform people about risk factors associated with developing lymphedema following surgery and/or radiation, so they can minimize the likelihood of developing arm/chest swelling following treatment for breast cancer. For those who already have lymphedema, we also provide treatment for this condition. In addition, to lymphedema care relating to breast cancer, Kalee Powell and Christina Karcher are trained to treat lymphedema that may affect the entire body.
