Eureka Philosophy Eureka Studio, like its name is a creative place base on the idea of discover and self motivated exploration. We hold the highest value in providing a space where your child can explore with out fear of judgment, the calling of there own personally understanding, and how that understanding is express in the making of art. It’s been our personally experience in observe he children. (Each child’s energy is different in action. Each child level of understanding is different. And that, each child will understand at a different time.) It’s the beauty of art that the processes is opened ended, and can be fulfilled on many levels. At Eureka studio all our workshops, and the materials have been plan, design and refine by many years of classroom experience. We want to give the widest range of choices. Base on, the introduction of artist material and their uses. Because its part of are basis belief system that. Artist material and there tools must be introduce slowly, form the simple too the complex, by demonstration and excises. So the need of technical skill, or the range of the material being use does not overwhelm the beginning student. In teaching, we try to empower the students from lesson to lesson. We are not a workshop; interested in producing pretty pictures (thought that happens along the way.) Our main concern is having student master their artistic choices step by step. And learn by personally experience the range and use of any giving artist tool and its techniques. And at the same time provide a joyful and nurturing learning experience. Eureka! 尤里卡工作室，如同它的名字一樣，是個創作的地方建立在發現和自發性探索的基礎。這個字是偉大的希臘數學家阿基米德所發明的，他大叫“Eureka!“，當他發現如何測出皇冠中黃金的含量時，他的方法是；利用水來測量物體，可以發現其真實的重量。所以在選擇Eureka這個名字時，我們對工作室的期許是；讓每個孩子都能夠在這裡透過藝術的鏡子，發現自己的藝術真理。簡而言之，每一個人的經驗和理解世界的方式都不太一樣，而每一個方式都是很獨特的，我們非常重視建立一個空間，讓孩子們都能盡量去探索，不用擔心他人的評斷，能喚起他們自我的理解力，還有這樣的理解如何表現在藝術創作之中，創作便是個人的生命經驗（每個孩子不同的精神表現在創作中，每個小孩的理解程度也不同，因此，每個小孩也會在不同的時間領悟）創作的美好是過程導向一個開放式的結果，同時可以有不同程度的完成。尤里卡工作室的所有課程和材料規劃，都是經過多年的教學經歷去設計和修正，我們想給孩子們多方面的選擇性，介紹各種藝術家使用的材料和方法，因為在我們的教學理念中，藝術材料和工具必須循序漸進的介紹給學生，在示範和練習中從最簡單的到複雜，所以在技術層面，或各種材料的使用上才不會讓學生不知所措。在教學上，我們試著在每個課程中去加強學生的能力，工作室在乎的不只是要一張美麗的圖畫（美會在過程中自然流露），我們重視的室如何讓學生一步步的去主控自己的藝術抉擇，並且對我們所提供給他的藝術創作工具和技術，以個人的經驗去對待，同時，讓孩子得到愉快和滋養的學習經驗。
