European trip/ Disc Golf European Masters recap: Spent three days in Finland, did a putting contest in Helsinki and two promotional signings at Budget sports. After the second signing we were able to catch the final holes in Turku to watch Pasi Koivu win in a three way playoff. We then proceeded to catch a boat from Turku Finland to Stockholm Sweden. Once we arrived in Sweden we got our first practice round in at 7:00am monday morning. Between monday through wednesday I was able to get in six practice rounds in at Jarva Discgolf Park. The tournament started thursday with perfect weather and very light wind, I shot a 55 which was 1 off the lead. Day 2 I shot another 55 which put me in a tie for the lead with Karl Johan Høj Nybo. Day 3 brought a little bit of rain, I shot 1 stroke worse 56 and fell 2 behind the pace of KJ. Day 4 was the 4th and final round, The 4th round was going to be filmed by the biggest news broadcast in Sweden and Finland. I was able to save my best round for last and win by shooting a new course record of 52. None of this would be possible without the man himself Jussi Meresmaa and his crew.
