Evaporation A snowflake fell upon God’s bed And he smiled at its thoughtful gesture He tried to shake its hand in thanks But his strength was too strong And it melted with his first introduction Different this flake never was She is no different from the rest They all get cold And they all fall And they all become just dirty water Snowflakes don’t really dance, you see They just move as the wind sees fit What they create should be dismissed As their hearts are frozen And their brains Just mist Evaporation is a myth So it has been determined As she doesn’t rise And she doesn’t fight She just lies upon the pavement -- Audrey Michelle
