Eve gave us the birth story that everyone hears about, but nobody wants. It was 4 years ago, during the middle of a snowstorm, the DOT was closing down the roads, and this mama was having contractions on and off. Thankfully, we have wonderful family, and Jerome and Marilyn opened their home to us, while Gramma Diane stayed with the older two girls. After making the trip in absolutely the most horrible road conditions Ive ever seen (took us an hour and a half to get into Fargo), after cabbage and stories about Uncle Kenny (which Papa Jerome ensured would induce labor), we went into the hospital, and Eve Jonell entered our lives. Evie Jo, you never cease to amaze me. This year, you started preschool, and had your first play date. You proved to us that the obsession with Frozen could last over a year. You showed us that your stubborn streak was just as prominent as both of your older sisters (darnit anyways), and that even a 3 year old could laugh so hard that they cry. You can do push ups and sit ups like someone twice your age, and dance with the best of them! Ive especially cherished your nonsense secret telling, and our late night giggles. You are always empathetic, and the first on the scene if someone is upset, trying to make them feel better. We love you with all our hearts Eve, and couldnt have asked for a better way to start off a New Year than with new life. Keep laughing, keep dancing to the beat of your own drunk, Monkey! We love you more than you will ever know! May EVERYONE be incredibly blessed in 2015, rich with love, laughter, family and friends! Sorry for the overload in pics, but Ive been especially reflective this year :)
