Evelyn has a doctor now. She did real good with him as he talked to her and asked questions, she squeezed his hand for yes and did not for no. He said she is very healthy for a person just after having a stroke. He was very suprised at how well she is recovering from the stroke and how good she responds to questions. He is going to get a recover therapyst to come and work with her and help get her motor skill working on her right side. He also is going to get a speech specialist to work with her too. He plans on sending her to a hospital to get a specialist to check her swallowing abilities and work on that as an out patient then she will come back home. He is not sure how exstint the damage is to her brain and motor capability to her right side, that is why he is going to send her to the hospital to see if they can determine that out. He is going to get a wheel chair sent here and a lift so I can work with her easier when moving her and to get her out of the bed at times to keep her from getting bed sores. He will be checking on her at least once a month to check her progress maybe more frequent than that even. He is very amazed at how well we have done and how much Evelyn has recovered in such a short time. He said that Lois, Steph, and I have done a great job for Evelyn and what we have done is very positive progress on Evelyns recovery. He also has a nurse that works with him as he works with patients, and Evelyn did very well for the Nurse also they all worked good together. Evelyn had good vibes with them.
