Evelyn here. While watching this video I began thinking about how what I was seeing is so much like life. There we can be, innocently enjoying life and all the goodness it can offer... when trouble, and sometimes even danger, intrudes. Lifes joys seem to quickly turn to despair... and we try and escape.... but seem to get backed into a corner... with no way out! And just when we think things cant get any worse... sure enough it does! The bottom seems to drop out from beneath us and were left floundering... being shoved along... life seemingly being out of control... trying to regain our footing without success... we can hardly catch a breath before another wave of trouble slaps us in the face... all while seeing the feared disaster coming closer and closer. We know we need to fight, but feel alone... and no match for that which threatens. We get our nose bloodied... we hurt... were afraid. And then when we think all is lost we turn to discover our danger and flight had taken us to where we needed to be. To the very one who could fight for us... and nullify the danger. We are relieved. And we are comforted. I hope you enjoy the video clip... and that it will remind you too of his mercy and care. Run to the father... He will never leave you or forsake you. Its a promise.
