And the Christians cheer. Just to put this in perspective, the median per capita income for Virginians is about $993 a week, making us # 10 in the wealth of states. Working 52 weeks, that comes to a little over $51K a year, (per capita income is more than the payroll tax but lets give him the benefit of the doubt). Now, and you didnt pay this much because the cap for social security this year is $117K, but over the last thirty years it was much lower. You pay 2% of your payroll tax to social security and lets just say it was $117 for 30 years, you put in $30K. Now according to Brat, if you have been retired a few years you are broke. It doesnt matter that hour company declared bankruptcy so it didnt have to pay a pension, that your pension fund abused the money but never was punished, etc., etc. you are busted...and your Medicare goes the same way...The republicans said they will shut down the government in December to end Obamacare. Maybe this is why they can predict the Government will default in 3 years. Did you vote for these people? Do you plan to vote for Gillespie and Brat? That is your choice.
