Even as a Muslim, we always celebrated Christmas. Back in Sierra - TopicsExpress

Even as a Muslim, we always celebrated Christmas. Back in Sierra Leone, Christmas meant visiting your Christian friends, (who made the best desserts during that time), checking out the nativity scenes and Christmas decorations at their homes or at the churches, watching the beautiful Creole girls wearing their best outfits and colorful ribbons in their hair, attending church services, and best of all, hearing the church bells ringing on Christmas morning!! I miss those days with Tipeps SaLone Borbor, Elias N Nader, Norma Nader, Joseph N Nader and MANY more!! Here in the US, its all about people rushing to buy presents, most have not even been to a church. And worst of all, everyone is trying to be politically correct by saying happy holidays instead of merry Christmas (its Christmas for Gods sake!). So to all my friends, I say MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
