Even if the heavens will descend on me, even if the sycophants - TopicsExpress

Even if the heavens will descend on me, even if the sycophants reading this will refuse to acknowledge the truth, and as much as I admire and respect Governor Imoke, I keep asking myself why would this man return to the Senate instead of pushing young people to the top while he retires honorably and perhaps focus his energy on mentoring the next generation? What did Governor Imoke forget at the senate? This man started politics as a Senator. At the same time, why would Ndoma Egba think he inherited the Senate position from his father? I saw him inspecting water projects, but I didnt see him drink from the same source, which shows he still has nothing in common with the people he represents. A pragmatic leader will not only inspect the water but drink it to show that he values what he gave to others. Yes. Water is life, but my knowledge of water resources engineering and hydro geology suggests that there is much to water than digging a borehole for a village. If there is no purification system, you are giving your constituents poison to drink instead of life. I can only attest to the quality of Ndoma Egbas representation by reading an evaluation report from an independent consultant that shows his water projects are sustainable and have the capacity to improve healthy living conditions in any village. What is more disturbing is why a Senator will chose to visit a project with photographers as if he is doing the people a favor. I dont know how much our senators receive as constituency allocation, but I do know that the member representing Yakurr - Abi receives 40 million naira every three months for constituency development. You dont need to be a Senator to build a borehole for a community. We can do that as individuals. How long will these men continue to blindfold us while we sit back and only ask God to intervene?
