Even if you insist, I refuse to be your enemy. You have to do a lot more than this to be my enemy, and I have none. I know, I did not walk the world in your shoes. I don’t know your pains and sufferings, I have not experienced the trauma you have been through. & I sympathize. And I hope some day, you would too. It does not make me magnanimous or benevolent. I claim none. I am just a person, who refuse to dwell in anger, hate and bitterness. Cause, I have exhausted my share in hate and rage in days of betrayal and treachery. I suffered. I don’t have any more hate to give to any one, anymore. When you use vulgar words, or, I hear you say, things that I don’t think I deserve. I just feel, you are more angry at me than I am at you. And, I sympathize . Not in any fake pride or self righteousness, but in knowledge that, I have not walked the path in your shoes. I am not Jesus, who turns the other cheek. I am not Gandhi, who seeks nonviolence. I am just a guy who think, differently than you. I appreciate that, me and you are different. I just hope someday, you would too. Even if you insist, I refuse to be your enemy.
