.................Even though women r nt obliged to perform Jumuah however it is important to note dat d women during d time of d Prophet Mohd.(saaw)attended d mosque&used to pray Jumuah with him. .....................There is nt a single verse in d Quran wch prohibits ladies frm entering mosques.There is nt a single authentic Hadith wch i am aware of wch states dat d Prophet Mohd.(saaw)prevented or forbade women frm going to mosques rather d opposite:Prophet Mohd(saaw)said,Do nt prevent d female servants of Allah frm going to d mosque of Allah.(sahih Muslim,vol no.3) ..................If d wife of any 1 of u asks permission(to go to d mosque) do nt forbid her. (sahih Bukhari) .............................There is only 1 Hadith wch perhaps could hv been misunderstood to mean dat women shuld nt go to d mosque.(Proof Abu dawood,vol no.2)
