Even with our family history of mental illness & suicide I still wasnt truly aware of the incredibly massive epidemic this has become, not only here in Australia, ( the lucky country ), but worldwide! The amazing growth of this page & the love & support you all show us as well as each other has been a real eye opener. It is so horrible that so many people have, will or continue to suffer yet the subject is still very taboo & hush hush. People just dont want to discuss it - except those of us who suffer or support someone who suffers or has lost someone because of it. There is a real intentional ignorance out there & I dont care how long it takes or how hard we have to work - we ARE going to change that. Somehow we will. Thank you to everyone here supporting & sharing the love. You are all doing your bit to help make this happen. 💜 Martine.
