Evening everyone, I bought a GFS bridle recently and after one use on my arab she had sores on the side of her head. I took it back to the tack store and the owner changed the buckles thinking they had rubbed her. Well, I used the bridle 2 nights ago for just over an hour and she has worse sores than before! (First use was months ago as it was in the tack shop ages awaiting the new buckles to go on so completely healed). I am a little mystified as the sores are in various places including over her head behind the ears, down her cheeks and even where the browband lies. It is not tight on her and is nice soft leather, could it have been treated with something that she has a reaction to? She is usually ridden in a biothane endurance bridle but I also have another leather one that she has no problems with? Many thanks
