Evening parkrunners, The stats for this weeks run are below, well done to the 215 of you who ran yesterday, especially the 28 of you who achieved PB’s. A special mention this week for Sara Saraiva who just completed her 50th parkrun and also to Hannah & Imogen Greenhalgh who have completed their 10th. Matt BURTON (SM25-29) (Unattached) was second over the line in 16:58. Steve MCKEAN (VM45-49) of WA Marathon Club, was third over the line in 17:21. Current standing in the Mens annual points competition: Sir Pete THOMPSON (Unattached) 2323 pts. Nicholas FUDGE (Fit-Bits) 2056 pts. Craig CALLANDER (Unattached) 2033 pts. Womens placings: Suzanne MCMAHON (VW40-44) (Unattached) was first (36th overall) over the line in 21:54 - 7th time in 23 appearances. Brooke BEGOVICH (SW30-34) (Unattached) was second (44th overall) over the line in 22:22. Jacinta KEY (SW30-34) of Frontrunner TRC, was third (45th overall) over the line in 22:28. Current standing in the Womens annual points competition: Denise NEWPORT (Masters Athletics W.A. (Western Australia)) 2402 pts. Kerry WARNER (WA Marathon Club) 1947 pts. Suzanne MCMAHON (Unattached) 1900 pts. The following runners recorded the best Age Grade scores: Bert CARSE (VM70-74) was graded 86.90% for the time 21:07 (26th overall). Steve MCKEAN (VM45-49) was graded 84.34% for the time 17:21 (third overall). Andy GOVUS (SM25-29) was graded 83.50% for the time 15:27 (first overall). This week there were 215 runners, of whom 26 were first timers and 28 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different athletics clubs took part. Claisebrook Cove parkrun started on 4th August 2012, and since then 3,308 different runners, including participants from 148 athletics clubs, have completed 17,333 runs covering a total distance of 86,665 km, and there have been 4,211 new Personal Bests. The womens record is held by Melanie BLACK who ran in a time of 00:18:07 on 2013-08-17 (event number 54). The mens record is held by Marc SEE who ran in a time of 00:14:50 on 2013-08-03 (event number 52). The Age Grade course record is held by Margaret FLANAGAN who recorded a 90.76% run (22:00) on 20th July 2013 (event number 51).
