Eventful early evening..Honey went exploring whilst Lexi was mumching,I was inside twiddling my thumbs whilst dinner was cooking,Mick casually walks in and I hear the words "steff,dont know whats going on out there...but noise is terrible",so I trot out back to find Lexi in field,running up and down back fence and a pitiful bleating coming from way down....looks like Honey explored to far and fell through the ranch fencing (near the top)and fell about 15 fee,t luckily landing in bushes before rolling into the field below us ;/...me,like an idiot said to Lexi "stay here" and ran to get leads and someone to help,after much ado like trying to access that particular field,in the end I had to try and go in the way Honey did except less dramatically,and managed to coax her up and pull her back through a gap in the trees,Honey is unharmed,Lexi was a star and stayed put,Alex appeared after it was all over,bless him ,he had run down the road and into the fields only to find he couldnt get into the field for a high wall of nettles/brambles,so all secured and calm and what happens?,,,I casually walk back inside to finish cooking and walk into a fencing wire that I managed to pull so tight yesterday ready for electrifying,that it pinged into my face and caught my eye and now sporting an eye/cheekbone that looks like its been slapped HARD ;/.....dinner was eaten in painful silence !
