Events in Uganda never stop to amuse. just recently, lecturers had refused to get back to lecture rooms until Prof. Ndiege was retired in their interest against courts ruling on the matter. Some people lamented that lecturers were overtaken by emotions rather hidden that they could not abide by the rule of law. Others called it greed yet others said it was the work of mafias. Recently, KCCA had a council meeting to decide on the fate of the Lord mayor, and did all that was possible not to entertain any-would be entrant to city hall, regardless of whatever genuine reasons for getting in to conduct meaningful business! Anything privy or sinister? God knows. Now court says that was unlawful as was denying people entry into city hall, and that is now criminal! Because this is against original intentions by those in power, everything is getting paralyzed. is it because of Intolerance on the part of Lukwago or others seem that they can not tolerate anything however lawful it is as long as it has to do with Lukwago? What are we up to in Uganda? Why have we become intolerant to each other and so to courts of law yet we pretend that is where we will get justice? It looks like we have reduced ourselves to mere animals in a bush. even then, animals may have some systematic way to do things other than mafiasm. Make the country a better place for us to enjoy otherwise we may become slaves/hostages in our own country!!!!!
