Ever had one of THOSE days..... Today I awoke up to “Doubt” today Then with “Fear” making its way Soon “Disappointments” were closing in All of these three as I begin I then sat down upon my bed On my pillow I laid my head Choosing not to face this day Under the covers I chose to stay Yet as I lay there “Guilt” came knocking “Failures” followed without stopping “Regrets” too surfaced again Those I had buried way back when With all of this pressing down on me I climbed from my bed to try and flee And to my surprise “Hope” appeared “Love” soon followed and pulled me near “Faith” told me to move ahead With “Prayer” it was I cleared my head “Truth” spoke a word to me Telling me today I’d be set free From the worries that filled my yesterday This morning brought a brand new day And for that I sure hoped to find Blessings today to be all mine As “Faith” leads and “Love” remains All is able with the “Prayer” I claimed So goodbye to “Fear”, ”Disappointment”, “Regrets” “Guilt” you have no place here left “Failures” you too are in the past Be on your way, for a new day I have To begin again free from you “Mercy” has brought me a day brand new. ~caprecia zdradzinski
