Ever had that feeling Where you cared But the you decided To shove aside all feelings Place in a box and bury it Somewhere far from yourself So that you could never Fall and be hurt again Or even begin to Imagine caring again To fall so far away From your own self In attempt to reach out At an aspiration Of your dreams Of your hope To only fall short and Stumble onto Nothingness a dark point And instead of getting up To be hurt again Ever thought of just sitting There and thinking Not quitting simply thinking Letting your mind wonder At all of the Could have Would have The possibilities if you where just reach out again but to Only end with same results again When the only solution is That your sanity is slipping Slowly you allow insanity to Consume you whole Insane I choose to be Rather then quit and never reach above My pain My mindset My own goals Though I will never care Again as once use to I will at least care for Myself...
