Ever thought... why am I in this mess? when is it all gonna end? aint this too much? where is God in these testing times? These could be and remain the same questions that generations have asked through the ages, quickly thinking that in times of pain, misery and suffering God is farthest from us. How could this be so, God repeats Himself in Hebrews 13vs5 that He would never leave nor forsake us...is it not then blasphemy to ask these questions above. One of the Godly attributes that has come down to us is that He is all present, so this you must know, the Lord suffers with you when you suffer, carries your burden when you cant go on and rightfully relieves you. Our devotion today comes from Jeremiah 8vs21-22. for the wound of the daughter of my people is my heart wounded, I mourn, and dismay has taken hold of me ooh look, just when we thought we were alone, God is wounded together with us, come on...dont blame it on God, its all because we look for God where God is not found, looking for a job, want to pass your exams, want a life partner, need peace, love, joy...well, dont go fishing in the sands, go to the waters. Verse 22 asks, is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? In the same manner I ask........ Is there no knowledge in God? Is there no healing in God? Is there no peace, love, joy, tranquility, breakthrough in God? Dont blame it on God, go ahead and go to Him with your grief, in Him only do we find refugee. GOOD MORNING
