Ever wonder what it is like to be camping in the clouds at 7,000 feet..then getting surrounded in a thunderstorm? Wonder no more! Here is 59 seconds of pure fun! The video is black because when we got swallowed up in the storm cloud it turned day to night pretty quick. The flash at 20 something seconds is the lighting flash that lit up the inside of my tent, the thunder follows right after. I recommend earphones at high volume to get a faint idea of how loud this was! It shook the ground, literally. Its hard to get any closer to a storm since we were in the middle of the storm cloud as it came through the high mountain basin we were camping in. Crazy! The storm lasted over an hour. Dillon and I both stayed dry in our tents. It was awesome and Id do it again, it was unbelievable!
