Ever wondered how you can help Rampart Search and Rescue? Well, heres a FAST and very SIMPLE way to do it. rampartsar/donation.htm Dear Rampart Search and Rescue Donor - We want to thank you for your support during Colorado Gives Day and any time of the year. In this current year, we have had to respond to 62 missions so far. All total, we have traveled over 6k miles between Adams and Lincoln Counties this past summer and given almost 1200 hours in volunteer time. This does not include trainings which could easily triple these numbers. We are a volunteer non-paid team and receive no government funding. We could not do what we do without your past and future support. You dollars stay here with us; neither middle man nor percept goes to overhead cost, etc. 100% of your donation stays with us. A little about us - There is never a charge for our service and we’re available 24 / 7 / 365. As you can imagine the cost involved in providing this service to the community is large, and as a 501 (C)(3) organization our funding comes only from private donations, sponsors and grants. All by the way are TAX deductible. Rampart Search and Rescue is based in Adams County and we serve Adams, Morgan and Lincoln Counties here in Colorado. Rampart Search and Rescue has provided search, rescue, and emergency services for the citizens of Colorados Front Range and throughout all of Colorado since 1999. We have even responded out of state. Rampart Search and Rescue whose primary mission is to find missing persons, give them aid if needed, and bring them to safety. These are just a few of the items your donation can help with- We need to purchase additional communications equipment which will help us coordinate efforts in the field better. (Approximately $12k) We also need to replace existing hardware that is nearing the end of their lifecycle. (Approximately $3,500) We also have the following expenses that seem to never go away for obvious reasons- Vehicle maintenance of our primary response vehicle (Squad 51). (Approximately $5,250), Vehicle maintenance on our second response vehicle (Squad 52). (Approximately $2,800), Team’s Insurance for the year. (Approximately $4,300) Our financial goal this coming year is to purchase 4 new ATVs. We discovered during the Boulder flood of 2013 and on several rescue missions that we needed a light vehicle to get around these narrow walk and bike paths to help supplement our mission. Our current 4x4 trucks are not well suited to these types of special missions. As you can see, it costs a lot of money to keep a Public Safety agency like Rampart Search and Rescue running. We depend 100% on donations from companies and folks like you. It is our sincerest hope that we can continue to seek your support to offset the costs for the work we do so that in turn we can continue to be of service to the community. Thank you for your support.
