Every Halloween for the past few years, Ive listened to this recording. It is of the final seance carried out by Bess Houdini on the death date of her late husband, the great Harry Houdini. Its eerie and mystifying, and delightful to listen to on a day like today. I know many of my fellow performers and friends find him to be at the very least fascinating, and for a few of us, inspiring. My personal venture into performance would not be what it is were it not for him. Such a mystery, and such an amazement. And so, in honor of (in my opinion) one of the greatest performers to ever walk the earth, the final seance of Harry Houdini!
